Join us for a heartwarming afternoon at Montane Barn as we celebrate the season of gratitude with "Thanksgiving at the Barn" 

Bring your loved ones, dress for the season, and come with an appetite for fun, food, and connection. Everyone is welcome — this event is all about celebrating community, gratitude, and togetherness.

A festive celebration with live music, horse rides, pig roast, family activitiesS'mores, games, and more! 

Walk or bike to the barn, parking available at the Montane Trailhead on Montane Parkway, or walk from the Fernie Aquatic Centre.

Good ol’ community-style entertainment for all ages, including:

  • Horse Rides – Saddle up for some country fun!
  • Meet the Mini Horses – Gentle, adorable, and perfect for kids.
  • S’mores Station – Roast marshmallows and share stories by the fire.
  • Pig Roast – Delicious and hearty. Vegetarian chili.  Minimum donation.
  • Children’s Area – Games, crafts, and autumn-themed activities.
  • Live Music by Heather Gemmel – Relax and enjoy her soulful, rootsy tunes.
  • Chicken Poop Bingo – You heard that right! A farmyard favorite.
  • Family Photo Station in the Barn – Capture the memories in a cozy fall setting. Minimum donation. Professional photographer.
  • Games & Old-Fashioned Fun – for the whole family!

All activities are by donation, proceeds from the event will support the Coal Creek Heritage Society and various community groups.
